Default 12v Battery Mount

I am buying all the parts i need to install a 12v battery on my cart for my headlights and LED lights under the cart. The only problem i have is im not sure how to secure it.

I have 1" x 1" tubing that i though about using and making a square that i could bolted to a hing that would lock into place to hole the battery and unlock when i need to remove it.

the only thing is i feel like it may be overkill for wnay i need and thought maybe someone may have fabed or done something simpler to hole the extra battery in place.

I searched before i posted this about couldnt find anything specific. If there is please feel free to direct me to it.

I attached a picture showing what im working with. The space i have is located to the right of the attached picture.

Thank you for your help in advanced.

A simple strap of 1"x 1/4" flat-bar laid across the battery is plenty to secure it.Either use some long threaded J-bolts to the tray,or make tabs that can attach next to the battery on the frame to bolt the clamping-bar to.Or even use an automotive battery hold-down clamp,if you have room in the tray, next to the battery. It wedges against the lower lip on the battery base, and bolts down to the tray-floor.Hope this helps.
