Default My take on plasti dip

Just got done coating my g16. I had to do some bodywork using glaze putty in a few spots. I used the blaze blue color. Well I ended up using almost 9 cans of this stuff!!! The repaired areas would keep bleeding through. I should have primered the whole cart in white before dipping it but had no clue that this stuff was so transparent. Used the glossifier afterwards. Also, thew cans dont have a wide fan spread and wish I bought a gallon and used a paint sprayer and the cans would blot a lot. Also the rubber texture pics up a LOT of dirt and smudges and doesnt come off easy, almost like its sticky. So theres my review, cost me over twice what it would have been if I just painted it so no I wouldnt do it again,

Same thing happened to me. I actually bought the whole kit from dipyourcar.com. The sprayer worked great but the dip wasn't as good. I used 6 coats of dip. After 24 hours of dry time I put on 4 coats of clear coat. If you have any dust or dirt on your hands it sticks to the cart because of the tackiness of the dip. Also, when I installed my head lights the dip actually ripped from the screws I used to attach the lights. I spent over 5 hours on the project and was very disappointed.
