Wood Splitter/Pipe Bender!
I mentioned in another thread on making my bumper that I used a Harbor Freight hydraulic bender.
I used it in original configuration to make the original bumper. But after retro fitting it to my wood splitter to make use of the powered hydraulics instead of the jack I find it works much better and is much more handy and easy to use. Plus now my wood splitter won't set all summer without being used. Plus I can now go from splitter to bender or back in about 10 minutes. I made no changes to the splitter other than removing the blade. Here as promised are a pictures. Here is a picture of the first couple bends I made with it. |
