Default Locking seats

I'm curious how many folks are interested in this. I had read a few posts where other members were discussing the theft potential and how this could be partially deterred by having a locking seat. Always loving a challenge, I made one in a couple hours today just using car parts I had lying around. I have ordered some parts to make a system that is easier to install and would be more universal for all carts.....but if there was enough demand for such an item I could make them designed to fit each model independently.

So I'm just pondering out loud, is this something the cart community is looking for out there?

I made the first one out of junk I had lying around. It was based on a central lock, which allowed the ends of the seat to flex up and down a few inches. I didn't like that, so I'm changing it to a dual lock on the ends. As soon as the parts come in and I get one installed, I'll happily show you the pictures. And, to boot, the one I was using as a guinea pig sold this weekend and I had to take it out. I do have a video posted on another thread that shows me opening and closing it

I thought of this as well. I even looked into getting the battery quick disconnect at advance auto for $25. But all I could think of was some type latch type lock

I got delayed in finishing this project with travel, a wedding and a very unexpected Bladder infection. I feel like a 90 year old man running to the toilet every 3 minutes.
