American made
Hi, as I am very new to this world of golf carts I would like to ask which vehicles are closest to being American made. I want as little of my money going to anyplace but USA if I can help it. Yes, I am willing to pay more to support America. Thanks guys.

Re: American made
Thank you. I seen Yamaha was about 85% made here but had not seen where the others were made or to what % was made here. Just want our money to stay here.

Re: American made
I am leaning towards one of these two carts as parts are readily available local and mail order. They also seem to have most custom parts as well. Now to learn how to shop for a used cart. I was a journeyman mechanic and do not pretend to know much but feel I could learn maintenance fairly quick. Any pointers?

Re: American made
With Kawasaki engines, etc... brands are from US but... we are in a global world!
This being said, all 3 (with Yamaha) have factories in US, giving work to locals but to exactly know the percentage of what is from where (concerning the parts...), who can answer? and we could be highly surprised!!! It is like Boeing or Airbus, sharing 1.000s of suppliers |

Re: American made
I guess what is best is to get the most popular around here. EZGO and Club. Three places to shop near me. Maybe there will be a winter sale. Thanks

Re: American made
Ezgo’s primary plant and Club Car’s only plant are in the Augusta GA area. That being said quite a few of their parts come from overseas. The made in China on the box kinda gives it away. Yamaha has a plant I believe in Kennesaw GA which isn’t too far but still would guess their parts come from similar places.
