Default Club Car reliability

I have just a few questions about Club Cars.

1.How reliable are Club cars compared to others.

2. The only reason I ask is I've found a site called Crankyape.com and they have a few club cars on there. They look to be in excellent shape but I wan to know if these are reliable or if I should look for another brand.

Thanks

as long as you stay with the top 3 (club car-ez-go-yamaha) you will be fine. club car is the only ones with aluminum frame ,the rest have metal frames, which means no rust

Aluminum isn't metal? (no disrespect just a joke).

But seriously I'm not the biggest fan of Club Cars electrical lay out on the gas carts but the only problem out of our 2004 was on Halloween night while taking the kids trick or treating it threw the starter belt. Not a big deal. I also have a Yamaha G2 and I know every time I jump in and hit the gas peddle it's going to move.

I do love the club cars, but the one problem with alluminum is its a pain to try and weld all though since I have owned mine ive gotten pretty good at it. steel tube frames on yamahas arejust way easier to mod strangly they all way about the same. as far as reliability I hammer on mine at least weekly although I have broke a few things over all it holds up well. I love the big heavy gears in the rear end and the engine is bullet proof
