Anybody from Oklahoma
I don't know if anyone from Oklahoma is currently active on the forum...or if there is already a thread for members from Oklahoma. Just trying to see if there is any interest in group discussion or maybe even trail rides in Oklahoma or nearby.

There is Appalachia Bay @Lake Keystone near Sand Springs. Then there is Lake Murray near Ardmore. I have a few more I will post later.

Haven't been to Lake Murray due to all the bad feedback I get from other riders. I'm sure it's ok...but not worth the drive to get there in my opinion.
Been to little Sahara in Waynoka Oklahoma...love it but not golf cart friendly. There is NO reason to nessitate a rollcage on a vehicle that weighs less that a 4wd polaris 800 sportsman....and that can barely get out of it's own way...much less add a roll bar that would most likely hit your head in a roll over if it did occur. Stupid people and stupid politics. |

Re: Anybody from Oklahoma
35 miles east of Tulsa. Up highway 412
86 DS from hell. 6 inch lift dropped back to about 4 due to going back to original springs, 23x11 SS wheels and tires. later model driven clutch spring in the original driven clutch which gives me the low end grunt without sacrificing any top end or slow barely off idle. Mushroom hound here Also slid motor forward to where the belt is riding at the center of the drive clutch, just barely loose enough to keep from making it hard to shift. Very happy with the way I can go up any and all hills between me and the arkansas border. Spend most of my time in the hills in and around Peggs OK |
