Need advice. Buying my first cart.
New to the forum and looking at picking up my first golf cart. I've been looking at 2004-2008 electric Yamahas and Ezgos in the 1700-2000 price range. I recently found a 1995 E-Z-GO. I'm guessing it a Medalist. It has a gas motor. I went and looked at it this morning. It has nice paint, upholstery and aftermarket wheels and tires. The retired gentleman bought it in 1997 and has maintained it very well. I'm wondering if this a good deal and if this year and model is a good choice. I can probably pick it up for $2,600.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Here is his description of the cart: Selling a custom mid 90's EZ-GO golf cart with a gas engine that's seen very limited use on weekends. Newly painted body off frame, new fender covers and bra, new suspension and bushings that included a complete realignment, brand new polished aluminum wheels and tires, removable back seat atop aluminum 0.125" sheeting for hauling cargo. Pioneer CD/stereo w/speakers, head lights, LED tail lights, cup holder and cigarette lighter. A brand new black top with mirror and brackets is not mounted but is included. |
