Maintainer had some "glitches" they sent it, it didn't work properly. I sent it back, it came back to me again, this time one screw was not threaded on the holding clamp . .screw broke off. They Called me and again.... they would send a couple screws to fix this clamp.. Then i emailed them and told them the delema i was having,,,,,,,,,so i ask for another backside panel/ They said they would send it right out! . Great folks to deal with... [granite digital]..... great folks is all i can say bob s btw bold letters .i can see them better thanks

Don't know what you mean "what's this charger". The charger comes with a wall mount bracket. Attach the bracket to the back of the charger. The bracket then mounts to whatever you want to mount it to. The one in the pic is mounted in an empty space on the battery tray floor with sheet metal screws.

got ahead of my self again :whats this charger"i was jus curious about what you ha done for Amount.
Iam going to make up my own wire [with 5 amp fuse] hook it to the two end batteries.and route the wires with ties so you can't see them , Then mount the charger on my garage wall.Carts got a nice spot to set all the time. Then get the fitting you have ....only make it female ,if i can do that. i haven't checked to far in depth on the weather proof fitting as yet.Not crazy about mounting the charger itself underneath ...gets pretty nasty under there. That way i can se the charging lites when i walk n my shop door. bob s

Cool Re: 48-Volt Battery Maintainer

Got a question---I have my "save battery" maintainer hooked up!......Today/ blu power lite is on, the next one down......in the house can't think here. Its blinking steady, no third lite down ,on yet, pack voltage....shows 27 .7 volts acrossed 4- 12 volt batteries deep cell. Any thoughts on this "battey saver" i have going here? How many days does it take approx- to bring 27 volts up 51,Which is what it was showing after it was charged UP/ by my club car charger.is it performing right .....or what can you shed lite on. thanks bob s

All in all- push comes to shove!I'm not in love with this costly little charger, so far, say what you like i am listening

It sounds like you have it hooked up to only two of the batteries.

All four batteries are hooked up in series as they are supposed to be. Thinking maybe this "maintainer" charger, may be super slow in recharging: jmo

If your batteries were that low they could be damaged some.

Since you have four 12V batteries connected in series and the voltage across the pack is only 27.7V, the probability of any 48V charger in existence charging them to 51V is nonexistent.

To charge rechargeable batteries, you need two things.
First is batteries and second is a battery charger.
You only have the second part.
