2011 precedent PQ motor upgrade but what controller
Good afternoon BGW. I am gonna put a plum quick bandit motor in my PH precedent. My question is I want to upgrade the controller a Lil bit and not sure what my options are. I just want to make sure I have enough torque. The cart is lifted with 23" tires.Thank you

grandpa1, call plumquick and tell them what you expect from your cart. They will help you get exactly what you need.

I would put the bandit on it, upgrade the cables to 2 gauge and see how your torque is at that point. If you're unhappy then you can upgrade the controller and solenoid. Everyone has different expectations, so I gree make the call and explain what your wanting. When i upgraded my cables that was the first upgrade, I noticed more torque, nothing else.

I will just add that it is extremely important that you tell them you have an Excel Precedent.
That will have an impact on how they rework the motor, your controller choices and the amount of adaptation You will need to do to integrate it into your cart. |

Re: 2011 precedent PQ motor upgrade but what controller
I have a controller that has been bumped to 400 amps by CTS (FSIP competitor) Will let everyone know how it turns out. Gone try it on a stock motor with magnet change, a admiral motor also hope to try a plum quick.
