On a side note:
It's kinda funny... I spent some 2 1/2 hours doing a search on your #1 resistor coil for your Craigslist cart...
all I could find was the part number, gauge, and number of wraps! but no resistance values...
and that's why I never replied! (mostly because I don't know sparkies very well!) But, hey... I at least I tried!
I hear you on being sure, spending someone else's money is fun, but comes with a lot of responsibility.

And thanks!! I'm always humbled by just how many people folks on here go out of their way to help. I appreciate it so much!!

Club Car doesn't sell that round solenoid anymore. You need to use the 101908701 solenoid but cut off the small diode before you install it. You'll see it. It's soldered between the two small terminals. As for the speed sensor, we have a few of them at work but I can't remember the part number. I'll look it up tomorrow and get back with you. If you haven't heard from me by lunch send me a PM.

Here's what I found Don -

The speed sensor part # is 1019258-01

The resistor coil part # is 1019644-01

Thanks guys!

I've got a link on a used solenoid and resistor from a member that he has laying around after upgrading his 99 regen2!
I'll have to check my CC dealer for the speed sensor today, it kind of concerns me, it's not listed on his website,
and if he doesn't have one, I may have to take a different route!

Did I ever mention how much I love BGW?

Couldn't you just bolt up a newer IQ motor with the newer speed sensor? The plug is the same

Well kids...
Yesterday, my best bud Steve and I spent 8 1/2 hours... numerous beers (for me anyways) ...
and a bunch of donated/at cost/or reasonably priced parts... "My first cart" is back on all four tires!

IF... your lifted CC sparky has a catastrophic U-Bolt failure like this one did, be prepared to fix or replace these parts:
  • Leaf springs
  • Regen solenoid and resistor
  • The complete rear lift (U-bolts, spring perches, etc.)
  • Passenger (or both) brake cable(s)
  • Brake cable brackets
  • Speed sensor
  • and repair/replace 4 motor wires

So, at this point... I have to throw some thank you's out there!

First goes out to my best bud Steve, he donated his time...
5 of the 7 battery cables... (just because it needed it!)
and... his "kick in the butt" just to get this cart rolling again!

To Mr Golf... Carl donated the regen solenoid and resistor shipped... NO CHARGE! (WOW! )

Cart Parts Plus... The Super Sport rear lift and passenger brake cable at a really reasonable price!
(including, canceling the wrong speed sensor that I ordered! )
015.JPG

To David (Tahoe) that got me a new regen2 speed sensor at cost!

and to CCFanatic that bought a regen2 parts cart and offered me FIRST DIBS on anything I might need to get this one rolling again!

I really don't know who's happier?... Me? ... Diane? .... or her 3 dogs that love the cart also!

Ya' know? I can't say this enough... BGW ROCKS!
