Default Wheel clearance

How much clearance should there be between the pass. side tire wall and the spindle arm at the ball joint? I have maybe an 1/8 inch. It handles OK and I didn't really take a hard look at it when I got the cart. I'm running on 18X8.5X8 tires on stock wheels. No lift.

Thanks for the reply. It still makes me nervous. Think I'll add 1 inch spacers.

Are both sides the same? You should have more than that. Usually around 3/8" to 1/2" depending on what tire you're using.

Sounds dumb, but check to make sure your tires are the inflated properly. Low tires can kinda squish out and rub that area.

Both sides aren't the same. Pass. 1/8. Driver 3/4-1 inch. Tire pressure is at max. now-20 psi.

Considering the cost of replacement, it looks like it's time for a lift.
