Is This A Good Deal
This may be a repetitive question, but just looking for some advice.
I am in the market for a used golf cart. I recently purchased a home in a private gated community. I live about 1-1/2 miles from the golf course. OK what I am looking for is a fairly fast golf cart. No modified ones, just something that might go around 20 mph on paved roads. Doesn’t have to be street legal as it is not required to drive on the streets here, they are private roads. Anyway I have done some homework and it looks like the EZ-Go RXV line or Clubcar President fit the bill. Have looked around for both, Would love the EZ-Go but they are really high priced for good ones. In the Dallas area I a 2005 Clubcar, with a brand new set of Trojan batteries. It is very clean, and the lady is asking $2400 for it. Her husband died recently and she wants to get rid of it. Does this sound like a good deal? |

It sounds good to me, those new trojans are around 800 depending on what part of the country you live in. Is it an iq cart? if it is you can get the speed turned up, if it isn't turned up already.

Sorry but I do not know what IQ means, but FWIW it does have programmable speed and acceleration settings. |

Re: Is This A Good Deal
You probably won't find one cheaper than that in the Metroplex! I bought an 05 Precedent 4 months back and paid $2400 with 07 trojans.
