Default Steering Rack Questions

Cart is 96 DS. Steering wheel is centered, but has a lot of play when driving. Alignment, Tie rods, Yoke, no bent brackets, rack boots are in good shape. The only thing that didn't seem right is the shaft coming out of the rack to the passenger hub assembly. It flexes up and down when turning the steering wheel left or right and seems to be the source of play. This doesn't seem normal to me, but wanted make sure. Is there an adjustment for this or is a new rack required?

Is the shaft that runs through the steering box one solid piece? I have not
removed the passenger side boot yet, but it has a lot of movement. Almost like it has a joint or knuckle in there. If it is one straight piece, your link to the video would explain the movement. In my case, it would be extremely excessive.

Thanks tjequip, I'll have time to take it apart tomorrow. Maybe the Joint you posted is worn out causing my poor steering.
