I like how they say 11HP when really is peak HP, continuous HP is much less.

My swag is that you will have close to the range you have now, probably a little less. But you will have that extra power when you need it.

Check out this thread I did a long time ago with Garmin speed and mileage readings. Might give you a bit more insight of your final results.

4-12 volt Battery Pack Run Times compared to 6 8 volt

CAUTION! on Trying to charge golf cart batteries with inverter out of vehicle.
Unless you have One heck of a Alternator ''Like one out of a fire truck'' and a 1500watt+ Sine wave inverter.

It could work you would use about 1000 W at about 70 A most alternators are good for 100 not sure if the charger would start because of frequency problems.
