Default 96 48V SERIES intermittent start-stop

Greetings.
I have a 96 CC 48V series cart. After washing out the battery compartment on Saturday the cart now starts and stops intermittently. NO water got on the black box next to the batteries. I always completely cover that with plastic and direct my hose away from it.

When I step on the accel. I hear the solenoid click, as normal, but the cart does not move. All of a sudden the cart takes off then stops, few seconds it MIGHT take off again then stop again. During this, the Solenoid does not click until I take my foot off of the accel. Please give me your thoughts and troubleshooting procedures.

I'm a retired diesel mechanic, but not too well versed on carts. Cart has new (3 months) batteries, batt pack voltage is 52.3.

Thanks

Either F/W switch or cooincidence on the solenoid going bad. Also, make sure the V-Glide doesn't have water in it.

Is the V-Glide the box between the batts? The one that says don't get water in it?

I will try the F/R switch.

It is a black pie shaped box mounted on the frame directly below the drivers seat. Cover clips on for easy removal.

Squirted the F/R shifter down with WD40 and blew it out. Opened the V-Glide and it is dry. I posted a video of what the cart is doing HERE. Any other thing I can check?

Thanks

Are the vglide contacts fully seated, no arcing? Or connector at vglide have water in it?

The V-Glide was completely protected when I hosed everything down. I cover and tape it before I do any spraying under the seat. From the sounds of this thread, the consensus is, the V-Glide is the most likely suspect in causing this issue. Is that a fair assumption?

When the cart cuts out make note if the solenoid is clicking. Listen carefully to identify the solenoid click when you start to go. If you hear this click again when the cart cuts out then you can assume it is a solenoid activation problem like bad micro switch or loose connection.
If no solenoid click when the cart cuts out then assume the problem is either in the Vglide, F&R high amperage contacts, or the motor
