Replaced batteries, now no reverse

I put new batteries in my 1991 Club car and it runs fine... forward. Nothing in reverse. Don't see any wire problems. I'm thinking it's got to be something simple. I took pics before switching so I know all the wires are back where they belong. Thanks

Do you have controller or a resistor cart? Please give more details so folks can help.
First inclination is microswitch. Does the reverse buzzer work in reverse? If not trace it and check micro. You should have continuity when its closed.

My first check would be the reverse (+) cable connection from bottom of the F&R to mid pack (+) It gets overlooked sometimes.

Must be resistor cart huh? Seems logical. Verify pics.

Yep, a 91 CC sparky was by default a resistor cart with the V-glide. Controller carts in 36 volt didn't come out til 93 and went away in 94.

Thanks for the help guys, I have to work the next few days so will get back to it and let you know. Will recheck the reverse cable or maybe just replace it.

Sure enough , it was a bad connection on the motor which had got jostled during the battery switch. Appreciate the replies! Hal

Haven't figured out how to automatically put a quote in but when I do, I'm thinking of this

"I may not do good work....but I sure am slow"
