Default Need Torque!

What are the best ways to obtain more torque for hilly terrain in Club Car IQ Carts? Can program parameters be changed to achieve this with a Curtis Programmer or am I restricted to jusdt battery cable gauge and controller upgrades? Thanks for your help!

I'm watching this one. In the middle of a hunting cart build myself and had a somewhat steep uphill washout rut stop mine temporarily last week with two riders, gear and a deer on it in the woods in hilly terrain.

I think I'm just going to bite the bullet replace everything for performance that makes it go. I think you'll need a new motor to really get any benefit over stock torque but I'm still learning myself.

Assuming starting with good batteries, upgrade wires first followed by f&r (if series), then upgrade controller and finally motor last. That is the preferred order of upgrades, stop when performance expectations are met.
