Just added a 20" light bar to my precedent. Is there any reason i can't use the power for the aftermarket front light kit to power this bar?

Re: LED Bar
I think probably not. If your kit hooks to one battery, is it 8v? If so you will be way under powered. My light kit hooks to two batteries (16v) and that would most likely damage your LED bar. (but they sure area bright!) plus it would depend on the amp rating of the inline fuse and the combined amp draw. I think it's probably a better idea to get a voltage reducer, or mount a battery in the bagwell just for the lights. (That's What I'm doing.)
I mounted a 12V Deep Cycle in the bagwell and am running wires to a 12V rocker switch that will power up a 6 outlet fuse panel with ground bus, that way I can easily wire everything to it that I think up like LED lights, 12v outlets etc. Sizing wires accordingly. An extra battery is about the same price as a voltage reducer and you don't have to worry about robbing power from your main pack. Putting w switch between that and the fuse panel lets you have one more layer against unwanted things being on by accident and helps isolate the panel during charging. (plus switches are cool!)
