Default I need new batteries! ! which ones??

I have a 48v golf cart with six 8v trojans. I bought them cheap and used about a year and a half ago and now they are done. I feel like I got what I paid for with those batteries so im not disappointed. Anyway my golf cart is currently worthless without the batteries and it will be for sale within the next week or two. Anyway, on a shoestring budget, what brand should I choose for batteries??? I know trojan is known as the best but I am looking into US batteries and want to know if anyone has actually had problems with them rather than "I heard....."

I have used US Batteries without any problems.

Just curious...if you're going to sell it, why wouldn't you just use the least expensive batteries that you could find...???

Just sayin'...

If you are going to sell it. Please don't stick the new owner with a set of batteries that won't last. Sell it as is for 800.00 dollars less and allow the new owner to buy good batteries. That's just my way of thinking.

He bought them used! He does not say how old they were when he got them a year and a half ago.
