Pictures included. Still have that nasty accident to fix.

One more question: when I took the charger/ fuse apart the wire that loops from the fuse to the charger plug was on the opposite side, I changed it to match the wiring diagrams, DO I need to flip the prongs on the charger it self?
I am glad You got the cart working, too bad about the damage...

Looking from the front of the cart, the positive is on the right side (furthest away from FNR switch).

Unless someone modified the charger, that should match... unless your are referring to just the fuse wires, then it makes no difference which side of the fuse the charger socket positive wire goes into.

The only modification to the charger is its an ez go Textron that I took the plug from the Club Car and hooked it up, it worked fine. So I'll give it a go once I run batteries down for its first full cycle, there all new.

Don't run your batteries all the way down. They need charging before use even when brand new.

I know is probably inconvenient with a manual charger, but I agree you should always keep the batteries charged.

I know it is working, but in case you have both the cart and the charger wired backwards, it could be a potential disaster waiting to happen. If you ever borrow someone else charger or try using yours in another cart, it would be a problem.

Turn the charger on and verify which pin is the positive, then align it with the socket on the cart and make sure the positive is on the right side.

Edit: it just occurred to me, is it possible to mount the charger receptacle upside down?

yea, I was going to take the cover off the charger to check it make sure before I plug it in and burn everything up. The batteries were charged when I got em and I charged them once 2 at a time, seen on here to charge them for a full cycle.

Don't know, it works pretty good. I have bumped the front of my trailer pretty good a few times.
