Unhappy Forward in Reverse

Okay Guys, 85 36v Everything is new except the motor and the key switch, I got everything back together turn the key put it in forward NOTHING, put it in reverse, hesitates and takes off like a bat outta hell, circle the house and stop. Hit the gas NOTHING, turn the key off, try again, NOTHING, turn the key off and head for mower to tow, decide to try again, takes off like that bat again, head for the shed and SLAM in to the back of the shed. Ruining my new paint job ! With help from CCFanatic, Sergio and Stevegrmich (thanks again guys) I' m certain I have the fuse charger group correct, not so sure about F/R switch.
Posting pics of damage and a diagram of how its wired can't see the pictures to good.
What do I have wrong?
I'm a pretty dim bulb when it comes to electrical !

based on your "print" and the below image, the physical location of the white wire going to the resistor board, the red wire going to the motor and the wire going to battery #4 do not seem to originate at the proper point on the F/R switch . . . wait until someone that has better info, but that is just my observation . . .

Your motor terminals are not marked but assuming that black #1 and white #3 at the F&R are the two cables with #10 hole lugs and they land on S1 and S2 on the motor... and these mount on the swivel terminals .... if yes to all that simply swap these two cables to switch direction.

The #3 white f/r is connected to the resistor, #1 black is connected to A1 motor very top connection, #2 red is connected to S1 very bottom connection motor, S2 is connect to neg. bat. #6 and A2 is connected to solenoid #1

Maybe this picture of the FNR will help. I also labeled the motor terminals on the diagram Stevegrmich posted.

Thanks Sergio
I have s-1 wrong , 1/2 throttle wrong and 36v wrong.
1/2 throttle is Bat. pos. # 4 and full Bat. pos. #1, s-1 motor to s-1 f/r.

I had s-1 to 1/2, 1/2 to 36v and 36v to s-1

Thank You to much !!

Now you think you can help with that fiberglass repair? lol

Wink Re: Forward in Reverse

Sergio your the man!!!
Changed everything over this morning with the exception of the reverse buzzer not working everything else is working superbly. Thanks again for everyone's help.
Pictures included. Still have that nasty accident to fix.

One more question: when I took the charger/ fuse apart the wire that loops from the fuse to the charger plug was on the opposite side, I changed it to match the wiring diagrams, DO I need to flip the prongs on the charger it self?
