Default Installing Acc battery in bagwell

How do you guys secure your accessory battery in the bagwell. I bought a battery strap kit to lock it down trying to have it easy to remove, and accessible for hooking up my charger. That strap is not worth a ****. haha Works loose and the battery slides around a bit.

The bagwell it self is just plastic with the metal at the back that's strong. With the seat above it a tray does not allow for easy removal. Not enough room at the top above it.

I'm thinking now some cheap lashing strap thing... trying to not use up any more room there than I have to so you can put stuff beside it if needed.

I haven't done it yet, but my plan is to mount the tray or box to drawer glides.

Try industrial strength velcro strapping on nylon backing. Add some D-rings. Strong, yet lightweight.

I use a Battery Tender on my acc battery. It has a flat plug with a cap on it from the battery for when it is not charging. I just plug into the flat plug, and plug the square charger end into a electrical plug. it can also be rolled up and stored next to the acc battery. That way i don't have to remove my battery to charge it. Hope this helps!

Mine is a precedent and the bag well floor is not flat. I bought a marine battery and a plastic battery box to put it in. Drilled holes in the bottom of the battery box and attached 2 pieces of rubber, one at each end, that I had laying around my shop. That allows the battery box to sit level on the bag well floor. My rear seat has 2 supports that run down across the bag well so I just ran a bungee around the box and strap each end to those supports - works fine. As for charging, I do the same thing as the above poster - I keep my battery tender quick connect attached to the battery and leave the cord hanging outside the box and just plug it in every time I plug the cart in.

You could use a 12V motorcycle battery, not as much run time but easier to fit in tight spots.
