Default Re: precedent axle bearing part number

Tahoe , How the heck do get those bushings off? Especially in a condition to reuse them?

I have seen some that have a c clip keeper, and some that don't. I just did a 94 ds that had the same bushing , without a c clip. I had to grind it in half to remove it?

There just wasn't any room between the wheel stud flange and the bearing so i could use my press.

Please tell me how to remove the busings, so that they can be reused??

Thanks

. . . soak them real good with PB Blaster or WD-40 or Kroil . . . they are probably being held on by rust/dirt/gunk . . . they will loosen and should slide off relatively easily . .

I've never had any problems with them. I use a hydraulic press from Harbor Freight.
