precedent axle bearing part number
I am trying to replace axle bearings on a 2008 precedent. The service manual and the parts manual, do not give part numbers for the bearing or the piece that is next to the bearing.
Awhile back, Tahoe was kind enough to give me the bearing number. I thought i found the other piece somewhere, but when i received the new part, it didn't match. The part that i received fit the axle, but was about 1/2" wide. The original part is about 1" wide. The manual tells you to replace the entire axle, they want to sell the whole thing. The red arrow in these pictures is what i am looking for. Can anyone help with a replacement part number that will be the same as the original part? |

Re: precedent axle bearing part number
ok, now i have the correct terminology, thanks.
Now i still am looking for a part number of these bushings. They are about 1" wide ( or the height if laying flat ). Came off a 08 precedent. Anyone? Buehler?? |

Re: precedent axle bearing part number
Steve, 1014207 is for a Gas car. I don't believe Club Car sells those bushings for an electric car. They make you buy the entire axle. I've always been able to re-use them though after I change the bearing.

Re: precedent axle bearing part number
Yes. Totally different drive unit. The gas car has a transmission built in. The bushing itself may or may not be different. I honestly don't know. But it seems that they should list it on both of them if it's a common item.
