Can You check the throttle percentage with the cart in Neutral or do you have to have it moving?

Check how far the Pedal needs to travel before there is a change in throttle input and what is the max percentage you are getting.

How do I check that?

Hopefully some of the guys that actually have an Alltrax controller and have posted the throttle percentages can chime in on how to do it.

I thought the monitor was just another tab on the same program You already used to program the controller.

You don't have to be moving to check throttle percentage. I suppose what the program does is to measure the throttle resistance and converts it to a throttle %. You'll need a long enough cord to sit in the front seat or somebody to work the throttle. Just don't let up to much or the throttle sw will click and shut down the controller. It is in the monitor tab in the program. Also with a Precedent it is very helpful to have a 15 inch 2X4 to hold the throttle down

PS Blanko: Set the throttle up setting to 8 or 9. You will be able to sling gravel (not sure about burning rubber). It will also increase your acceleration.

On another note. I took my MCOR out to check the linkage and stuff mentioned earlier. Didn't find anything wrong but I did find that you can pop the top of the MCOR off and have access to the inside. It popped and clicked right back in place after I scraped the sealant off the lid area. It would still be a pain to desolder the circuit board, but you might be able to drench the board with contact cleaner. Forgot to memtion I did put tape around the edge to water proof it.

I was able to hook up laptop and put seat back in place so I could change settings easily Ran monitor. Getting up to 100% throttle . How much pedal push I need to activate depends on what profile I use. Eg linear or s curve is pretty much instant but if I load a custom profile in this case - clubcar4.hex it seems like I have to press pedal almost half way before it kicks ins. There is no jerking with any of these settings now with new MCOR (thanks Scotty)

PS I set throttle up to 9. It's ok torque but nowhere near wheel spin levels.

Blanko Was there a HEX file that needed to be loaded to be able to get 100% throttle reading with the new MCOR?

No I got 100% with linear or s curve. I also uploaded a few different hex files to see if any profile made any difference.

I am wondering if there more than one firmware versions of the controller code or different versions of the IQ interface board.

This is the link to the thread where the clubcar4.hex can be downloaded from.

My best educated guess looking at the file is that the throttle input has 256 steps. The clubcar4.hex maps the first 18/256 to 0% power (first 7% pedal travel) and the last 33/256 steps to 100% power (more than 88% pedal travel)

If you read the thread it was done because the MCOR has never gone down to 0Ω, but stays around 1kΩ at full throttle.

Interesting that it works different now. As I understand it, You cannot cause any damage by loading a different throttle map, if You don't like how it works, just select one of the original throttle curves.
