Oddly enough Map 3 supersedes map 4 - Map 3 is the default code for this control.

That makes sense about the different behavior, I could not find the clubcar3.hex to download from the site, but I would guess it does not do the "flattening" of the curve at the bottom (based on posted results).

Interesting this problem goes back a long way, the one issue the throttle curves cannot fix is the jerkiness.

I would like to assume that there is some kind of filtering in the Alltrax throttle input, but it cannot deal with the MCOR, when failing due to oxidation in the tracks, going to infinite resistance (Ie: no continuity between White and Yellow)

That makes me even more curious about the results you can get with the 20kΩ resistor in parallel as well as the yellow-purple jumper.

That would cause the max resistance to go up to 5kΩ in case the MCOR hits a bad spot instead of an open circuit. Perhaps their internal filters can deal with that

Jerkiness is gone with new MCOR. I can definitely confirm that.

Okay per post #31 (pg4)

I tested the adapter with signal reducing resistor inline and it smoothed out the throttle , even on my new MCOR. The peddle is like an Ezgo now. There is a small amount of play at the top of the peddle and the solenoid clicks after less than 3/4" travel which isn't a lot less than without it but the difference is that the cart is capable of being moved 1-2" at low speed. Previously you kinda got the lurching start as the signal started over the program limit. My theory is this leaves a gap between solenoid engagement and a 'readable' signal. Now the signal is instantly recognizable. So the cart can start as slow and smooth and reach top speed.

Interesting I just spoke with Alltrex and they sent me ClubCar3A.HEX

I put a small Excel chart together that shows the OEM MCOR resistance and the Modified MCOR resistance Vs. Pedal percentage.

Assumptions made about the MCOR:
1) White to Purple (Total Resistance): 6.8kΩ
2) Wiper Resistance: 1kΩ

This chart may show why there is a little more "bottom" control of speed.

Assuming the Alltrax controller starts sending power to the motor at 5kΩ MCOR resistance, looking at the chart for how much pedal travel is required to go down to 4kΩ:
OEM MCOR: 41% to 56% or 15% Pedal movement

Modified MCOR: 5% to 37% or 32% Pedal Movement
You have twice as much pedal travel which should make it easier to control the speed.

Funny thing, just got off my cart. I had the alltrax and had this issue. Exchanged it for the Curtis 500 amp controller. 1/4 pedal I could crawl with as much ease as the stock controller. Also that adapter on the Alltrax was inferior to the Curtis. I could not recommend Alltrax when for the same price plug and play, same brand as stock and same performance. Just my experience, I know every situation is different.

The only thing this file changed was the custom throttle curve. It put it back after I deleted it. It is still listed in the software as field map 6. I drove it around the block and all the takeoffs were smooth. The real test will be when I get to drive it around the city once the weather warms up a little.

I can't emphasize enough how smooth and fast my cart is with the throttle converter Sergio recommended. Like to see somebody else try this.

I have a GE 500amp controller and my peddle was fine at first then then MCOR started acting up. So I changed to the Mcor 4 and back to new again.
