86 DS No Power Up Inclines
Hello all,
I have a DS that still has no power going up slight inclines.(pretty low top speed too) With some excellent advice gleaned from an earlier post I was able to condemn two batteries while monitoring voltage as I drove up the dreaded hill. This is not an extreme hill, any "normal" cart should shoot right up this grade with no difficulty. I have just installed six new Trojan T-105's and still have the same problem. I have load tested each battery again during actual driving conditions and I have also tested each solenoid to confirm that they are all operating correctly. I assume that the next step is to consider the motor. Any suggestion on voltage testing for the motor or brush replacement?? Thanks in advance for any info! |

Not a motor take apart guy, but I know who is...Plum Quick!
Send your motor to them. They will rebuild and make it better for your 36V application. Give em call. Great company to work with. Worth the money IMO. |
