My IQ system needs to have the throttle switch closed for the solenoid to close.

Not if you by-pass the negative side of the solenoid, just look at the wiring diagram.

Solenoid clicks and nothing happens..When not bypassed does it click when you press the go pedal?

When I run a negative wire from the Battery to the left tab on the solenoid, the solenoid activates when I turn the key on. But doesn't run.

When not bypassed it does not engage. There is a Blue/White wire # 12 that connects to the left side. When everything is ready the pedal should send a signal telling the Blue/White to flip from +6v to -48v. That's not happening.

If it were happening, Im guessing that the MCOR woud be telling the controller to start running the motor.

So even when I run a -48v to the left side of the solenoid thus engaging the solenoid and sending current to the controller, nothing happens.

When I turn the key to off the wire goes to -48v.

Test both big post on the solenoid to negative, I want to see 48V on one side and nothing on the other.
