Default Refurbished

You see ads for golf carts all the time for example. For sale a 2009 Club Car Precedent Refurbished in 2014. Are people just saying this or is there a refurbished program.

Thanks

Club Car will take in certain carts and actually refurbish them. I don't know how it is determined what carts are picked. You can tell if Club Car refurbed it by looking at the serial number sticker. It will either say silver or gold standard reman. Most of the time, it is just dealers or private sellers that claim it is "refurbished"

So unless its Refurbished by Club Car itself, its just dealers slinging words.

I have a 06 that the Mich. dealer told me was Refurb'ed in 2011. No gold or silver tag . But it was converted to 6-8vTrojan's which he said was $2100 up grade in it's self , go -peddle update . new tie rods , new tires , and warning stickers . A lot of money spent but no gold or silver tag. CC warns of counterfit Refurb's . I'm just happy someone else did all the upgrades .

They also assign a new serial # to it. For instance my number is 2P10XX-XXXXXX. 2P means it's re-manufactured to gold standards. Its got a gold colored sticker.

Lots of people have jumped on the refurb band wagon. It's a catch phrase that says buyer beware to me. There are some legitimately refurbished carts out there. We used to take fleet carts down to the frame and rebuild them with new everything. Other's say refurbished when the batteries and tires are changed. judge for yourself on a case by case basis.

One more thing. When Club Car refurbs them they are considered new again. It makes it a lot easier to title them if you want it street legal. They provide a new MSO for proof of ownership.

Trust me, a good refurb from a reputable dealer is better than a gold standard car ever thought about being.

Well i guess that makes a Gold Standard rebuild from CC good because I consider them a reputable dealer.
