I might look into a 48v maintainer that would bring them back slowly . Price around $100. but might save you $780. in new batteries .

The charger won't turn on if the pack voltage is below 36v.

You can either pre charge each battery individually with a car charger at the 2 amp setting (even 8v batteries) until they get close to 7.5v each.

Or you can jump the relay inside the charger so it comes on regardless the pack voltage.

If the batteries are really low, the Second method may trip the breaker in the charger.

You can use a 12V auto battery charger if you are careful to not leave it on too long. You just have to get the battery voltage up enough for the charger to kick on. 15 min per battery should do it.

Until the pack gets up to 48v, a few hours I would imagine.

Also, after the first charge with the bypass, or if you used the car charger method, you need to reset the OBC as it keeps track of battery usage.

Just disconnect the main pack negative cable for 10 minutes and the OBC will reset.

Put the cart on Tow if you have a tow/run switch.

To avoid a spark when connecting the pack negative back, I use a regular 60 watt incandescent light bulb between the cable lug and the battery post for a few seconds before touching the battery terminal with the cable lug.

48v and no OBC... I guess You are not using a club car charger.

There is a sticky about batteries, here is a link to the voltage readings for difference SOC (State of Charge):

Everything to do with batteries!
