Default New to me lease ride.

Well I finally got me a cart. 2002 Club car DS. It's been lifted and is in real nice shape, ready to hunt. However I've seen too much on here to believe I will not find ways to improve this cart over time. It has a nice custom basket on the back and I will be fabricating one for the front after season. First question I have is is there an after market cowling or cover designed for the little cavity under where the golf bag rack would sit? It just looks like this would be a good place to have a few JiC items in a bag or maybe a tool or two.

Was thinking about these for fender flairs. Anyone with experience with these?

You cart is my carts long lost twin!!!!
Get the flares for sure. They made a big difference in how much mud ended up in my cart vs. on the side or back.
As for the bag well. Don't be so quick to fill the space. you may need it later. See attached pics....
Other suggestions would be to add a gun holder if it already doesn't have one. Then there's the lights..... I added some green running lights for getting close to my stand withut spooking deer. I took standard lights and then replaced the bulbs with some green LEDs I found on Ebay. They give just enough light for me to sneak through the woods.... I still use my normal light when I'm further away from the area I'm hunting....

Here's a link to my thread about the runnng lights:

PS, how about some pics of your cart???

Here is the link to the add I purchased it from Bowslayer on another forum. He made me what I think was a good deal. If it wasn't don't tell me because I have enough regrets in life already. I had some of this put it the tires today.

On the rear I was only wanting a cover I could install to use it as a storage compartment. I may see if I can fabricate something from some sheet aluminum after hunting season is over.

If I could find a replacement green LED set up for the factory lights on the cart I would but some buddies have 30" LED bars and they light up the woods really well. A friend has one in green and it is the thing for night hunting pigs on corned roads. I don't know if I need a 30", his looks like the aliens are coming from half a mile away, but I may go with a 20".

The link to the ad for your cart doesn't work for me. But how about a link to the light bar you refer to.....

Well found out it wasn't his light bar that was so bright in the green it was two Rigid lights.
