re: 1998 48 Volt Club Car Warning Light Code
Rode the cart this weekend. Still has warning code flashing and no charger start up....Voltage read 48 across the series but only 36 at the pos/neg at the charger plug? Wondering if that's an issue as well...
Serial Number A9837693046 Mis-spoke....This is a 1998 48 volt model...Not 1992....Second numbers indicating year.... Thanks again! |

Sounds like you have a connection out of sequence if that is absolutely the only thing you did, possible you left a negative off for the charge outlet or OBC. Test voltage across pack to see what you have, If over 48V, then look under the batteries for a negative that may be under a battery or shoved somewhere making it look connected.

How many fill holes are on each battery? 3 or 4?

Re: 1998 48 Volt Club Car Warning Light Code
4 battery holes per battery...With a loose negative, I wouldn't get a full 48 across the series would I? Voltage reading from where pos post goes back to OBC and the neg post goes back to OBC reads 48 volts in the series...Still not sure whats up...Wish I could tell what the code on the dash is supposed to read...
