Generally is easier to verify the inputs to the controller.
First, does your solenoid "click"? Verify the resistor between the large posts of the solenoid is working and the diode between the small posts is good.

The only way to test it is to replace it with known good. That could turn into an expensive fishing trip. I don't think 36 Volt carts have a controller anyway.

Oops, I stand corrected. They do make 36 V controller carts.

They did, for only two years. CC only put a controller in 36v carts in 1993-1994. They are pretty rare. 93yellowclubcar will tell you all about them!

They were available for 2 years. Your right, throwing parts at it is expensive. That's why if all the inputs are good and the cart doesn't go, the only thing left is a bad controller. Been there, done that.

I'm here. Stock control is a 275 amp Curtis 1204-015 with 0-5k ohm input. If the pack voltage is 36, charge those bad boys! Pack voltage should be a tick over 38 volts at full charge.

Can we get some more info on the way it quit? Did it quit cold turkey? Does the solenoid "click" when the accelerator is depressed? These are a pretty easy troubleshoot, from my experiences suspect 1 is always solenoid, suspect 2 is the controller or bad connections at batteries or FNR switch, and suspect 3 is the V-glide or the motor. You can jump the big lugs on the solenoid (with the rear end safely jacked up!) and see if it runs when the pedal is pressed, if it does you've got a solenoid problem. Hope this helps, keep us posted.

Hope you've had a Merry Christmas!
