Default Slow 48V DS

I recently purchased a 1995 Club Car 48V DS and promptly put a lift kit, tires, and rear seat on it. I am familiar with golf carts and their stock speeds. The issue i am having is it is only going what feels like half speed in forward. I've heard speed sensor, a broken micro switch, yada yada yada. Help please with some solid advice, thanks.

Do you have a lever or a toggle switch for a F-R control?

This is the micro switch that is broken off.

All three of those microswitches look rough. The middle one that has the broken stud is your problem. I'd replace all three for peace of mind

Is that broken micro switch the cause of my, slow, to almost half speed in forward?

Are You sure that is a 95?

The 95 had a 3 wire Vglide which used a 3 contact microswitch for reverse.

Your microswitch #3 only has 2 wires, that was the way the 94 and earlier (0-5k) Vglides were setup.

The orange wire in either case is for the reverse buzzer so it would not cause any issues other than no reverse buzzer.

Disconnect one of the wires from microswitch #3 (furthest away from FNR) that will eliminate the half-speed resistor from the circuit.

IF in the other hand it is a 95, than there should be a green wire connected to a 3rd post on microswitch #3.

Edit: Perhaps it is an early 95 model, what is the serial #?

Yep, 3rd week of production which actually was in 1994.

Disconnect one of those wires from microswitch #3, it is probably failed closed.
