Default 1996 48V Club Car Dead

Cart will not move forward or reverse. Batteries check good, sylenoid clicks, power off the sylenoid to controller 46 volts, power off of controller to motor constant 45-46v. Motor has been checked out brushes clean, connectivity good. Also, when in reverse the horn sounds loudly. Any help would be appreciated.

if your only getting 48 volts thats a problem on a 48 volt cart......so go over the batteries and cables again.....with a volt meter after a full charge ( let charger shut off on its own ) than let cart sit 1/2 hour take a voltage reading from each battery a good 8 volt battery will read close to 9 volts but anything over 8.4 and your ok..............write all voltage #,s down ..........check cables pull twist and tug to make sure they are ok and also clean battery terminals and cable connections really good.........than load test batteries write #,s down and how long it is before they recover to full voltage......if needed check every cell with a hydrometer........how old are batteries and what brand? salso keep in mind a clicking solenoid dosn,t mean its good so if you go over the batteries aand cables and they are good your pack voltage should be approx 54 to 56 volts or there abouts .......if its only 48 or 49 volts that could be your whole problem..............if you get the battery voltage issue worked out than jack rear of cart up and jump solenoid.............is your charger working ok on cart? and do you have 1 or 2 solenoids? .........................go over that stuff and post your voltage #,s and we can go from there...........................

you can try and bypass the OBC ....take a jumper wire and go from solenoid small post with yellow wire to #6 battery negitive battery post if cart runs than OBC is bad........................................
