Thumbs up 97 cc ds

Replacing the floor mat in this cart but I was surprised that the holes in the floor mat were too small for the pedals ( brake and gas ) to go through. Taking the pedal off is an option but looks like a challenge...the next choice is to slice the mat to allow the pedals to slide through the enlarged holes. Look for somebody's experience to help this install. Thanks for any help.

Take the accelerator pedal off and pull the mat and rotate it so it fits over the brake pedal. The mat will come right off

I am installing and the precut holes are far smaller than then the size of the pedals...removing the pedal appears difficult...any input?

Here is the blowup of the pedal assy.

IIRC, when I pulled the pedal on my 90, it wasn't that difficult

Remove accel pedal like they said. BUT - its pretty cold out these days. I used a paint stripper gun to heat the back of the mat where the cut-outs are to a temperature where the mat became more pliable. But be careful - a paint stripper gun can heat things to the melting point pretty quickly. A cold mat is like trying to stretch a mud flap!
