Re: electric club car will not move
Check the Voltage across the entire pack, with cart off and in neutral
With New batteries 6 Volt system you should have 38-45 Volts, With New Batteries 8 Volt system you should have between 50-58 Volt. Make sure you charge the batteries at least one complete cycle before testing. And remember it generally takes 10-12 charges before New batteries reach the FULL potential. A Cart is considered dead at 36 or 48 Volts . |

Re: electric club car will not move
Just be patient and wait until the charger completes its Cycle some times as lond as 12 hours for badly discharged Batteries (I know they are new But S$%^it happens..).
1 other question , We just had a guy yesterday who had almost the same problem after replacing Batteries . He forgot to mention that he also just completed adding a lift Kit, So the problem with his was, he had pinched a wire while lifting. So now to the ? have you made any other modifications or as you said, "Just replaced Batteries". And each Battery Has 4 fill holes not 3 ? Keep the information coming and good luck :) |
