Default wiring up dash switches

Has anyone with a 12v acc battery been able to cut off power to your dash switches when the key is turned off. I know my key sw is 36/48v. not sure if you can wire it directly to key switch or not. I also have a 12v fuse block.

any recommendations?

thanks

Just use a relay that is powered from the cold side of the key switch to turn the 12v feed to the fuse block on and off.

If You have a radio that requires constant power for memory, etc, make sure the "Yellow" constant power gets wired before the relay so only the "Red" or trigger wire from the radio gets turned off with the key switch.
