Default battery charging light

Whats is the easiest and quickest way to ensure the light is functioning properly?

You should be able to apply voltage to it. How much I'm not sure, I would start with one 8v battery and go up.

Unplug the charging cable before it's fully charged and it should come on for a few seconds and go off. With a Precedent that is, not sure what cart you have.

I just did it with a battery light I had. Took a small wheelchair battery and applied the voltage of it to the light and it illuminated

Well, it only took 12v to illuminate it, so somewhere around that voltage
