How to/can I paint my 48v motor?

Hey
I was just thinking after I installed my lift kit I can see my motor a little bit now and it would be cool to paint in when I pant my cart. Has anyone done this? I know you can order a motor from plum quick that has been custom painted. Thank you.

Easy to paint, lots of people do it. Keep the paint out out of the inside of the motor and off the terminals. Not sure if plum quick will do a custom color.
