Looks to be welded. I wonder if the lift kits sold in Canada are different than the US sold ones

Yannicksjh, would you be able to take a few pictures of where the bottom part of the lift bolts to the frame?

Here is the top part of the shock, I'm assuming its supposed to be in between where he had added a spacer

When having the shock in between and swapping the arm plate with mounting on the outside doesn't the shock come very close to hitting the part of the body that comes in right there

See my most recent post. Since the plates are swapped and it pushed the whole front suspension forward, there is a good chance the shock tower has been moved up with new holes drilled in the frame for mounting it

From the factory the shock was mounted in between that bracket where that silver bushing is now...

Definately welded. I just noticed today there's a spot on the spindle to use a grease gun on it

Just would hate to take it all apart, swap it back to how its supposed to be , start to put it back together just to find out it was done for a reason. Just deosn't make sense with the limited steering. Think I might attack it over the weekend becuase if I don't I'll be thinking of it all summer, lol. I have way more room/tools in the garage then trying to do it all the cottage.

Just looks like the shock will be very close to hitting the front body panel once swapped. How close are they normally?
