What cart are they running Jake? Hopefully a CC

-----------

Unfortunately beau, most of the lower end batteries, such as these Energizers, are the cheap Johnston Controls batteries made in Mexico

An E-Z-slow TXT 36v series. It's actually been a pretty good cart for them...

People always say batteries maintained properly Then you quiz them a bit and find yes they always run the cart until it won't move anymore before charging...
who told u to do that?
BIL? Uh huh. He still made about the fishing pole?

2 years??? That stinks!!!

I've had OK luck with Energizers on a couple carts, but I will say they get maintained religiously and are rarely run far enough to discharge them anywhere near even 70% before being recharged. They're 6 volts too, which might have something to do with it. I'd definitely steer clear of them in an 8 volt, and the next batteries I buy will be Crown or Trojan.

These came out of one of my neighbors carts. They were my first battery customer! He did say that they play 18 almost every day of the year, so it sounds to me like he got 5-600 charge cycles out of them. I don't believe that they are shot, he just said he can feel that they are losing capacity. They may actually become a shop pack for a month or two. Hopefully the Trojans will deliver the 1200 cycles that they are famous for.

I'll give this customer the benefit of the doubt on his claim of doing maintenance. While being a retired Navy man who attended the US Naval Academy doesn't make you flawless, it typically means your good at taking care of details!
