New motor install
2003 DS IQ.Getting ready to install my new hi-torque motor. Any tips before I get started?

If you are not working with a motor that has a handle. Either make a cable up or use one of your short battery cables to put on the motor post to use for a handle. I learned that from reading this forum. It works great. Also remove the basket it makes it easy to get to things. I just put the motor under the cart in front of the axle and then reach down from the top to get the motor.
There is a spacer on the rear bolt for the basket. Watch for it, easy to drop and loose. |
