turn signal troubleshooting

i just installed a new turn signal and does not work.i have a 97 club car 48v wih led rear brake lights and turn lights combined.a bought the turn signal and recieved no schematics w /it. 8 wire .please help

Are you saying that you are adding a new turn switch to a cart that previously had none but had tail lights or are you replacing a broken turn signal switch which previously worked?

How did you wire it in? Harness in dash? Do you have 48-12 converter or just use a single 12v?
