Cart runs fine if you run it wide open. If you ride it slow for a mile or so it will stop and wait ten minutes or so and will go again. Any thoughts?

Is the cart all stock? It sounds like the motor is overheating. Sepex carts produce more heat at slower speeds...

Re: ds iq AQ05
Motor, controller and solenoid are all stock. Has 4ga wires. it is lifted with 22" tires. Does the motor have a temp sensor that connects to controller or is it internal that opens when it reaches a max temp? All i see connected to the motor are high current wiring and speed sensor.

If you get a motor and controller package that are built and mapped for one another it may help, but the fact of the matter still exists. Sepex cars heat up when you ride them slowly. I like series cars when riding around in the woods. The IQDM will show you the temperature. It's in the monitor menu under "Heatsink Temp". Once it reaches 80 degrees Celsius it shuts down.

Just to add to what has already been said also after this happens several times it is going to happen quicker and more often.
