Ready for snow
Here in the mid west we haven't had any snow yet (very unusual). lucky for me because I had shoulder surgery back in Nov and I just now was able to get my snow plow finished in time for the snow coming in tonight. Hope it works!

Re: Ready for snow
Nothing yet...but they say it's coming (5-8") tonight! I'm really a bit leary of the harbor freight winch. I guess if it doesn't hold up I'll pick up a warn winch next. I know that you get what you pay for, but for now the $50.00 winch seems to work pretty good.

Re: Ready for snow
Which HF winch are you running? I have the 3500lb one on my Xplorer 300 and it works fine for running the plow. The only downside is that it will run the battery dead after a few "sessions" of use
