Default Trojan T-8 Vs Trojan T-875

Found a dealer that has Trojan T-8 batteries. Says they are the same as the Trojan T-875. That this is what EZGO puts in their new carts. Never heard of T-8 they are red top Trojans. Are they the same?

Never heard of T-8s. How big is the price difference between the two?

The T-875s seem to be slightly better, AH wise

160AH vs 170AH, does that fall in the slightly category?

Ok, I'll rephrase that. The T-875s are better than the T-8s

Just went and bought them. Says 170AH on them. They were $426 tax and all out the door with my old batteries. They look just like the T875 only says T8 on them. They have j4 stamped on them. Well on the lead. Is that Oct 2014?
Guess I'll find out how good they are. They are on the charger now, wanted a full charge before I took of on the cart for a test run.

Mine was more a question than a statement.
