Question about a Solenoid coil for 48v club car
2008
Club car Turf/carryall Electric Symptom: Vehicle stops Actions: Cleaned all wiring and checked wiring, checked total battery voltage(50.4v) I was testing the club car solenoid. Disconnected the battery, remove the two small wire terminals for the solenoid. Place red (+) probe of the multimeter on the positive (+) solenoid terminal. Place the black (–) probe on the other small solenoid terminal. A reading of 180 to 190 ohms should be obtained. At the time i was testing at 174.5 ohms. after opening it to see it was dirty. clean it with compressed air can. test it again read 185.9 ohms. should i be worried? do i still need to replace it? |

Re: Question about a Solenoid coil for 48v club car
I would say that those reading were in tolerance.
