I'm not sure if the MadJax controller is compatible with the Excel system. The worst case scenario would be an IQ harness swap. It'll run you about $100 bucks. If you're interested in the MadJax controller let me know. I'll quote you a price. Send me an email or a PM.

I love it!
Stock rewound motor with 23 wheels

I'm topping out at 31 mph, roll the wheel down, for kids , the can slow it down to 12 mph, then lock it .

Great buy!

Its a pretty easy swap. Just label your wires or take a photo. It took me about 1/2 hour 45 minutes.😀

No, first i ran about a week with just the new controller. Then I ordered 400 amp solenoid from Scotty B. I didnt notice any difference. The torque controller is awesome! I go 21 mph on bumpy roads with my stock motor and plenty of torque

A Heavy Duty solenoid is not a performance item. It's installed for longevity. With the increased amp load that is applied across the solenoid due to the larger controller, a heavier duty solenoid is a requirement. Eventually, the factory solenoid would quit working because it's being overworked. It probably wouldn't take long at all for that to happen.
